A little dream I thought I should try out

Welcome to Our Green Place, our small family run business based near Glasgow.​Our love of the Scottish countryside and outdoors is evoked through much of the natural floral designs we are fortunate to create.​

Starting out by watching and learning from my fabulous mother-in- law Betty, it is now our family tradition making Christmas wreaths, table decorations, wall hangings and garlands every year with my wonderful sisters- with carols playing, pot of soup on stove, mince pies in the oven and, obviously, mulled wine simmering in the background. Happy, blissful family days.​

Having your home decorated with all the wonderful natural foliage of Christmas-  pine & fir, laurel, cones, larch, holly and ivy (and whatever else we can forage from our gardens) is hard to beat. We love bringing a little bit of fresh greenery into our homes during the dark days of winter, the traditional smells and creating a winter wonderland is our dream.​We want you to love our creations as much as we do.

We provide hand-made wreaths and table decorations, with natural foliage, and more elaborate creations using centrepieces for added sparkle at Christmas.​
